Practice problems coded by volunteer Prof. Xin, Ke.
To convert from Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C):
Use the formula: °C = (°F − 32) × 5⁄9
To convert from Celsius (°C) to Fahrenheit (°F):
Use the formula: °F = (°C × 9⁄5) + 32
1. Subtract 32 from 77: 77 − 32 = 45
2. Multiply 45 by 5/9: 45 × 5⁄9 = 25
✅ So, 77°F = 25°C
1. Multiply 30 by 9/5: 30 × 9⁄5 = 54
2. Add 32 to 54: 54 + 32 = 86
✅ So, 30°C = 86°F
